I have a 06 Apex ER and a 06 Vector GT. The ER has 144 studs and the GT has 96. I had been running 8" Woody Doolys on the ER and 6" Woody Doolys on the GT. They helped a lot with the darting, but they wear quickly and lose their bite on ice and frozen ground.

I just switched last week to the Bergstrom Triple Point carbides using the same length carbides and they are far superior to the Woody"s. They will actually turn on dry concrete.

I shimmed the rear of the ski's rubber mounting block with the shims provided by Bergstrom and there is absolutely no darting at all. Control is very precise and positive.

These skegs are really worth the money.

Dollar per mile, Bergstrom Skegs are the best value on the market...Period!
