*Turning Forces*

These tracks were made in gravel by the same sled used in our pavement turning demonstration.

The sled was going under 5 mph.

The photos show the relationship between the forces on the carbides and the track.

The deeper and wider (1-1/2 "to 2") rut on the left demonstrates how much harder the outside carbide is working - even at low speeds.
