DRAG TEST RESULTS... This test is quite simple. We tested our wear rods against the three other leading brands: Woody's, Roetin and Sno-Stuff. Each brand of wear rod was independently attached to a tow-behind jig. Each brand of wear rod was also independently weighted with 119 pounds. The wear rods were then dragged across bare blacktop because the alloys on all of these wear rods cannot be touched by a file, much less a hacksaw. The bigger and brighter the sparks... the faster the material is wearing away! |

All the host bars shown above are 3/8" diameter.
O.E.M. rods were shot after only 2 miles of dragging.
Our Bergstrom wear rod did not spark as much as the others
because ours had not worn through it's hardsurfacing yet.
